Nzira Yeparuware

  • Edinburgh Castle Castlehill Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 2NG United Kingdom (map)

Visitors are invited to explore a soundscape developed from field recordings taken at a selection of Scottish-named sites in Harare, Zimbabwe. By highlighting Scotland’s hand in the creation of Zimbabwe’s physical environment, this work addresses the injustices experienced by indigenous people on colonised sites through the lens of pathfinding and place-making.
