A roundtable workshop inviting participants to learn about and share their knowledge of John James Audubon, the creator of the world famous The Birds of America, on show in the College Library. Audubon was born on Haiti just before the 1791 Haitian Revolution to a plantation owning father. The workshop will explore his world and his links to scientific racism.
