A welcoming week of cultural connections for all the family. This half term the National Museum of Scotland is excited to invite local cultural and community groups and artists to share a mixture of music, song, dance, stories and art inspired by their connections to Africa and the Caribbean. From Mon 16th – Fri 21st there will be a variety of drop-in sessions and bookable workshops for all ages including storytelling by Chief Chebe, Afro-Futurism inspired art workshops with Keisha Rowe and dance workshops with African Maua. On Sat 22 we will host a celebratory day of performances culminating in a set by Samba Sene and Diwan.
