Glasgow Women’s Library, Street Level Photoworks and the Glasgow School of Art present the Maud Sulter Annual Lecture with Joy Gregory.
Joy Gregory is an award-winning artist renowned for her exploration of identity politics. Her major retrospective, Catching Flies with Honey, is on show at Arnolfini, Bristol, from October 2026. She is the editor of Shining Lights (2024), an anthology of Black British women's photography from the 1980s and 1990s, originally conceived in 1987, which led to her first encounter with Maud Sulter.
