A panel of artists, makers and researchers explore the cultural and political impact of pattern and motif as a design tool. Leena Nammari (Palestine), Francia Boakye (Ghana / Scotland) and Hannah Sabapathy (South India / Britain) will explore how pattern, particularly in textiles, can shape identity and collective memory across place and time.
